Available in solid brass, forged aluminum, polished chrome, and plastic. Aluminum offers similar mechanical properties to brass and deters theft. Plastic protects threads and prevents the buildup of debris but is not suitable for pressure testing.

Traditional brass provides corrosion resistance which translates to a very long service life. Forged aluminum which offers all the benefi ts of brass but is less susceptible to theft than its brass counterpart. Brass reducers are also available with a polished chrome finish. Designed for use in difficult sealing applications. It is ideally suited for Anti-Freeze filled sprinkler systems which are more subject to thread leakage than water filled systems. Manufactured to meet MIL Spec AA58092. Thickness is 0.09mm with density of 1.2g/cu cm.

Fire Protection Products, Inc. Spare Sprinkler Head Cabinets are designed to allow for spare sprinkler head storage as required by NFPA guidelines. The Spare Sprinkler Head Cabinets are available in six configurations. Three head, six head, six head ESFR, twelve head, twenty-four head and thirty-six head. All six styles are manufactured with "knockouts" to accommodate the most common size sprinklers. The shelf is located to allow for the storage of a typical sprinkler head wrench. Each cabinet is finished with a red enamel finish. Each spare head cabinet comes with a hinged door which remains closed to protect the spare sprinklers from the elements and features two holes on the back panel to allow for attachment to most surfaces utilizing the appropriate fasteners. The single outlet open snoot is constructed of cast brass. The single swivel is complete with gasket and comes standard with pin lugs. Outlet is 2 1/2" NPT Male thread. In response to recent requests and requirements by Authority′s Having Jurisdiction and contractors, FPPI introduces a round plate when used with a Recessed Canopy will provide an aesthetic solution to the larger diameter holes being required to meet to new earthquake requirements for pipe penetrations. AHJ′s in many jurisdictions are now requiring a minimum clearance of at least 1" on all sides of the penetration for sprinklers through ceiling surfaces. Typical sprinkler canopies don`t have sufficient outside diameter to cover the larger hole. Simply slip the Extended Coverage plate onto the skirt of the Recessed Canopy and install over the canopy retainer as you normally would with a Recessed Canopy. Available in two sizes, 4" or 5" Outside Diameter and in two finishes, Chrome and White. View all Recessed Canopies.

FPPI Plastic Plugs have been designed as an alternative to brass or bronze plugs for the protection of female threads from damage. Manufactured from ABS our plugs provide superior performance to other materials available. In addition to their clean appearance, ABS plastic plugs will not oxidize and resist breakage due to impact. Use of FPPI Plastic Plugs also reduce system service costs related to theft of brass or bronze components. Not suitable as a test plug.

FPPI′s New Alarm Back Box (Patent pending) made from ABS can be installed in more environments than the cast metal version. ABS has superior electrical insulation properties, is tough is impact and heat resistant and offers a great solution for corrosive* environments. Each back box is poly bagged and includes four bell mounting screws and one 1/2" NPT plug. * ABS polymers are resistant to aqueous acids, alkalis, concentrated hydrochloric and phosphoric acids, alcohols and animal, vegetable and mineral oils but are swollen by glacial acetic acid carbon tetrachloride, aromatic hydrocarbons, and are attacked by concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids.
